  • A hero film built for a specific goal — a fundraising campaign, an awareness drive, an annual report, or a major launch. Designed to move people to act.

    Includes: 2-3 shoot days, 1 hero film (5-8 min), 3 social cuts, b-roll library

I'm Damon Self, founder of NOMAD — a documentary production company based in Atlanta, Georgia. I make films about real people doing meaningful work.

My specialty is earning trust from the people in front of my camera — someone in recovery, a founder who built something from nothing, a community leader who's never been asked to share their story — and turning that truth into something cinematic that moves people to act.

NOMAD works with non-profits, recovery organizations, faith communities, healthcare groups, and mission-driven brands that have powerful stories that haven't been told the right way yet.
